Mentoring as a Training Tool
Panel Discussion of Best Practices
Recognizing the importance of mentoring in workplace learning and performance, the Mt. Diablo Chapter formally inaugurates its new mentoring program for chapter members with a panel discussion offering best practices in this all-important area.
As always, the presentation will provide plenty of time for audience interaction with our first-rate presenters:
- Ben Fox (Chevron: Organization Capability, Planning & Operations) will review the different types of mentoring taking place at Chevron.
- Brenda Ianiro (Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory: Manager, Training, Education & Awareness) will discuss ways the laboratory prepares mentors to work effectively with those they assist
- Barbara Miller (Artemis Management: Consulting, Leadership Development, and Coaching) will discribe the mentoring program she developed for executives and staff at Stanford University.
